Big News for the H5P Community!

We’re excited to announce that our Matrix discussion platform is public!

Matrix is an open source communication platform, and will become our main space for real-time, open discussion — making it easier than ever for educators, developers, and creators around the world to connect, share ideas, and collaborate on all things H5P.

Whether you’re looking for inspiration, support, or a place to showcase your H5P projects, Matrix offers a dynamic, open environment to engage with the global community.

Why did we create this?

In the past, members of the community have used forums to connect and the website as a place to receive updates from H5P. However, this ended up feeling like a one way communication to many, and wasn’t a place for discussion. Matrix enables us to not only engage the many users of the community, but also helps facilitate many more discussions between members. Don't worry, our forums will still be around and you'll still see key updates via the newsletters, but for your day to day discussions, head to Matrix.

General Discussions - Q&A, best practices, and discussions on everything related to using H5P.

Contributors - A channel dedicated to contributors and developers who wish to contribute to the open source H5P project. This includes feature requests, PRs, documentation, reviews and more. 

Social - Welcome to the community. Introduce yourself here, share news and connect with everyone.

Ambassadors - A private group for H5P ambassadors. This is an invite-only channel.  

We encourage everyone to invite colleagues and friends who would benefit from being part of the H5P open source community. Let’s build the future of interactive content together!
