Is Installing a H5P plugin to WordPress free?

Hi! I would like to check is installing a H5P plugin to WordPress free and does it have all the features as h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de?

Yes the plugin is free. The plugin actually has a few features that are not available in h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de. Save content state is a feature that lets you save answers from the students even after they close the browser (not available for all content types). Retrieveing of scores/results is also a feature available in the plugin but not in h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de. This website is for testing the basic capability of H5P which is the reason why some features are not available.

You can customize the visual look or functionality yourself.

Thank you so much for the info! Are there any limitations to the plugin in comparison to what is available on h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de or H5P.com. I'm a little bit confused why h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de used to be free, but is not anymore and now the H5P.com is here which is paid and at the same time there is a WordPress plugin which is free...

h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de is still free but it was never meant to host real contents. The intention was to allow new potential users to try out H5P before installing it on their own WordPress/Drupal/Moodle servers. We strongly discourage the use of h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de as a service for creating and hosting any real content for the following reasons:

When we release updates, we have to take down the site and we do so without warning. This happens just about every other week.
There are often unstable versions of H5P installed.
h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de is hosted on a low-cost hosting provider and is often slow to respond.

When self-hosting (free plugin), you don’t login and create the content on either h5p.test.schulcloud-thueringen.de or H5P.com, but rather on your own website. The main advantage of self-hosting might be that you have more personal control as things are maintained yourself.
