Image Hotspots

Hi all! I'd like to use an series of Image Hotspot links to create a coursemap image for my course on Moodle that links to the different activities. I can't seem to figure out how to set the url to open in the same window instead of a new window, when hyperlinking the text in the text box. Am I missing something?

I am trying to use a hotspot for my interactive book but all the ones I upload end up looking blurry and distorted, How can I solve this?

Is the Hotspot a square and if so how large?

Is there plans to allow for circles and polygons? Like you get with the HTML Map element?
