Timeline

Really having trouble with trying to put an image in my Timeline. I can do the thumbnail, but images from Wikipedia and Flickr  don't show up. Can someone check? Why can't we insert a Jpeg?

On timeline content type dates are showing on frontend . I dont want to show dates on frontend instead want to show some text.
Donot show time on frontent.
