Youtube video does not render properly

Hi,

 

This appears to be a long-standing issue that has been discussed in multiple forum threads, but as far as I can tell, it has not been fully resolved in any of the H5P releases so far.  

The link below shows an example of the problem.

When a video is inserted into an H5P Presentation, it is rendered incorrectly. The way the video is displayed differs from what would be expected and suggests that there is an issue with the video element's rendering or positioning within the Presentation.

Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue and, if so, whether there is a fix or recommended workaround? If not, I would appreciate it if this could be investigated.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Interactive Video and Course Presentation.

Hi,

Can you confirm these libraries we have are the latest versions?

  • Course Presentation (1.27.17) 
  • Interactive Video (1.28.36)

Hi,

I managed to solve it by updating Interactive video to the latest version.

One more thing, when you download library Course Presentation for the very first time, it uses the old version of the dependency Interactive video. Wouldn't it make sense for it to use the latest version of the dependencies??

Hi pizzaman,

I'm glad the issue is already resolved and I appreciate the update. As for the libraries I don't know the reason behind not downloading all the dependencies. A workaround is to download an updated version of the content with all the sub-contents inside it and then uploading them into your system. I suggest that you save these 2 links:
